Doodle Royale

A doodling app where you can compete against others to be #1 on the leaderboard by getting the most votes.

Challenge

The assignment was that you have to design something where you need more devices than one. It does not matter what kind of app it is. The issue i wanted to solve, is that people who really like to draw, have no option to compete with random people.

Solution

Doodle Royale is an app where you need to compete with others by drawing with your tablet. You log in with your phone to log in with your account (or create one), and choose a theme that you like to draw on. The themes rotate every few days, so you can also wait for new themes if you do not like all the options. If you chose a theme, you wait for the countdown to hit zero. After that, you can draw on your tablet! If the drawing is completed, you can vote on your phone wich creation you like the most. You cannot vote for yourself. If the voting session ends, you will see the top three people who got the most votes. If you ended in the top three, you will get a cosmetic reward for your profile. Those cosmetics are always visible on your profile.

Why Doodle Royale?

Doodle Royale was my first idea, but I wanted to generate more ideas. At the end, I still liked my first idea. I just liked the idea of competing with people who like to draw.
